Team opportunities

Have you adopted a second team yet? There are lots of ways to show your support but here are a couple of ways to see your favourite team in real life!

Northlanders have a few opportunities to catch up with our visiting RWC 2011 teams during their stay.

Team airport arrival

On their arrival in New Zealand, each team will be greeted at the airport in true Kiwi style. Come on down to give Canada a warm, Northland welcome!

Team welcome and capping ceremony

Bring your banners and Canadian flags to the welcome ceremony. Bring your banners and Canadian flags to the welcome ceremony.

Each RWC 2011 team will be officially welcomed to New Zealand at their first port of call into the country. For Northland, Canada will arrive here first so bring your flags, banners and cheers along to welcome them!

  • CANADA: Monday 5th September @ 10.30am - Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Tau Henare Drive, Waitangi, Bay of Islands

Public training sessions

Some teams have given fans an extra opportunity to see the players in action by making their training sessions open to the public. Please note these are subject to change.
