NorthTec

NorthTec is the region’s largest provider of tertiary education, with campuses and learning centres in Whangarei city and Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands, and Learning Centres in Rawene, Dargaville, Kaikohe and Kaitaia. NorthTec remains the only Northland-based Tertiary Education Institute (TEI) that provides programmes from foundation to degree level.

The NorthTec website (www.northtec.ac.nz) sets out key information about the institute including detail of the programmes of study available.  The listing of introductory, certificate, diploma and degree programmes demonstrates the opportunities available for lifelong learning, and the ability to continually update qualifications in this 21st century of shifting employment patterns and rapidly advancing technology. NorthTec vocational and career focused programmes seek to create work ready graduates. A number of new programmes, backed up by “state of the art” delivery systems have been introduced, including information technology support geared to latest international developments.
