The EventStarNZ Training Programme provides participants with the opportunity to be trained or up-skilled in hospitality to deliver great service to the Rugby World Cup 2011 Tournament within stadia and at other venues.
EventStarNZ is a four-stage, six-module training programme covering skills from induction, to technical, through to team leader and supervisory level courses – the length of programme ranging from ½ day courses through to two day courses.
The Hospitality Standards Institute has partnered with Rugby New Zealand 2011, stadiums, caterers and polytechnics to create EventStarNZ. The Training Programme is available through selected workplaces, Polytechnics and Institutes of Technology nationwide.
